John W. Simmons, IV, DMD graduated from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry in 1982. After serving as a dentist in the U. S. Navy for several years, he returned to metro Atlanta, where he has been in private practice for the last 22 years. Dr. Simmons and rsquo; general practice focuses on complex cosmetic restoration, temporomandibular disorders, and occlusal therapy. A graduate of the L. D. Pankey Institute, the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Study, and the LSU Esthetic Continuums I and II, he has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education, and is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry. In his spare time, Dr. Simmons enjoys spending time with his wife and three teenage daughters, water-skiing on Lake Burton in the North Georgia mountains, rose gardening, and worshiping and serving at his church.
