Yocha-De-He Community Fund (formerly known as the Rumsey Community Fund) has given more than usd. 150,000 in grants to WHF since 2002. Their Executive Director, Karen Charney, has worked with WHF for several years to support their mission. The Rumsey tribe provided seed money to start a diabetic group program. It started with a single group and now has three groups a month, two in Spanish and one in English. The diabetes program now also offers three weekly exercise classes. Most recently, the Yocha-De-He Community Fund provided usd. 100,000 over two years to help equip a three-chair dental office adjacent to WHFs medical office. The dental office provides preventative care for children and care for adults, many of whom have never been to a dentist. The facility is state of the art with digital x-ray and highly trained staff.
