The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Welford Turner Goldston, Jr. of North Augusta, SC. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Eugene King, Jr. , of Marion, SC, the late Mr. Welford Turner Goldston and Mrs. Jane York Goldston of Aiken, SC. Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree in international relations from the University of Virginia. He is a naval aviator with the rank of Lieutenant in the U. S. Navy and is currently serving as an instructor at Tulane University in the Naval R. O. T. C. department.
