Crest Whitestrips Premium Plus

I started using a box during the first week of school this year, in August, and only got around to using 10 of the 14 strips...I guess because I was a little lazy. I found the whitening to be satisfactory, and was pleased with the results. During Thanksgiving break, when my sister came to pick me up, she immediately asked me why my teeth were so bright and white.

I was extremely pleased at that, and decided to go ahead and finished the box, and went on to the second box that I had bought. I am noticing that my teeth are turning even whiter (after 2 days of the second box), and I am very happy with that. I suggest comparing the coloring of your front teeth, which are in contact with the strips, to your side teeth. For me, they look very yellow in comparison, and I cant believe that my teeth were ever that shade!

There is a minor numbness/tingling that comes with the strips a few days into the treatment. This is minor, and I am fine with it, since I know that tingling is the feeling of the stains getting rubbed off my teeth.

Also, the lower strips do not stick as well as the upper strips, since saliva and all that stuff gets in the way. However, it still works, and if you lay in bed while using these, that should not be too much of an issue.

Id highly recommend this product. It is cheap for what it does, and is very effective.

Let me preface by saying Ive tried many methods and am very particular about my teeth. That said, this is one of the better brands of whitening out there.

How white As with any brand or method you choose (including the dentist), just how white your teeth will get is dependent on just how stained they were before you started and how much coffee, tea, soda you drink and whether you smoke. I drink a fair amount of coffee and my denist tells me that if I didnt drink so much of it, the effect would be greater... cest la vie.
I wont be giving up my coffee anytime soon.

Taste Compared to other brands... leaps and bounds better! First of all, the gel doesnt go all over the place once its in your mouth. Thats a plus. Second, it appears theyve attempted a hint of mint or something. Ive tasted the oral b white strips, the rembrandt ones, and a few others... blech! Pure nastiness, mainly because you have to goop the stuff on thickly. Plus, youre probably going to wash your mouth out afterward anyhow.

Process Fairly simple. Peel the strip from the back, stick it on, and fold it over your teeth. Fit is really going to depend on the wearer... my two front teeth are pretty big but then again, whos going to be looking at the back of my teeth
You can talk a little with them in... put do pick a moment when youre not in company if possible. As for not brushing your teeth before hand, its understandable... but if you do it in the morning or at night, its pretty simple to just brush your teeth afterward... I have a toothbrush and toothpaste at work that I use after lunch... so i just wear my strips in the morning commute and brush my teeth when I walk in the door.

Comfort They are certainly thinner and more comfortable than the Oral B strips, which make you look like Rocky Balboa ready for a prize fight. As for after pain, that, too, depends on the wearer and my denist has also told me that its no different from the sensitivity you would feel after a professional treatment.. in fact, its less pain.

All in all, the process is easier, faster, and as effective as most other treatments. What do you want Flourescent teeth after 10 years of coffee and smokes

These things are great! I have been using them for almost two years, and I have not had a single cavity, and I have saved hundreds in dentists bills. I only wish they made them in a larger size, because i have fairly large teeth, and in order to cover those fangs or whatever those teeth are (you know what i mean), i have to use the extra white-strip stuff that normally stays on the plastic backing. Also, I agree with the other reviewer to not get the whitening goo on your hands, it will make them white too. Also, you have to be very careful not to swallow these, I almost did once. And these white strips are for people only, pets will not tolerate them, and I dont think there are white strips available for pets.

I should start by mentioning that my teeth werent very stained to begin with; they are more of an off-white colour. I have tried many of the inexpensive drugstore whitening products, from gum to toothpaste, with no real results. Reluctant to pay hundreds of dollars to have my teeth professionally whitened by a dentist, I tried this product as a last resort in the hope of attaining the as seen on TV brilliant white smile, with the products promise of Visible Results in 7 Days.

I used this product exactly according to the directions: twice a day for 1/2 an hour each time. While I found the strips for my top teeth easy to use, the bottom strips were difficult to remove from the backing, becoming easily twisted. Moreover, once I finally got the bottom strip straightened out and applied to my teeth (all while getting the gel all over my fingers), it tended to slide around a great deal and would not stay in place, especially if I had to talk (That said, once the strips are in place, I would recommend keeping your jaw very still!). I was also somewhat disappointed that the bottom strip covered only the front 4 teeth entirely, with the corner teeth only partically covered. I would have hoped it would extend at least to either side of my mouth. Finally, I have to say there was a bit of discomfort during the first few days of treatment, just as the product cautioned. I would describe it as a stinging of my gums. However, after about the 3rd day, the stinging subsided.

As for the whitening results, after the first 3 days, I did notice a slight lightening of my teeth, especially the top. However, it was nowhere close to the brilliant white results shown on the TV commericals. Now, after the full 7 days, I can report that while my teeth certainly arent sparkling white, they are brighter--perhaps 1 shade lighter than when I started--and some of the very slight staining I did have near the gumline has lightened to the point that it blends in with the rest of the tooth. While I didnt obtain the brilliant white TV smile I wanted, I did see an overall lightening of my teeth.

Final thoughts: If you are hoping to obtain one of the bright white smiles all the stars are sporting these days, you will not achieve those results with this product. Youll have to go to your dentist, as Ill probably end up doing once I come into some money. However, as the product promises, the results you do obtain are indeed visible. You can brighten your smile several shades, and the strips do remove (or at least lighten) some staining on the teeth. I would expect someone with more staining on their teeth than I had would have ever more noticeable results with the strips. I would certainly recommend this product to someone hoping to lighten their teeth and make coffee, tea or tobacco stains less visible, however I would not recommend it to someone expecting professional whitening results.

I must say, using the whitestrips definitely did whiten my teeth. I could see a difference after the first usage, and other people commented, too. The downside to them is the CONSTANT pain in my teeth and gums that I experienced during usage. Seriously---my lower teeth started hurting after the first set of strips, and my gums started hurting after the second. I never thought I had really sensitive teeth--Ive never had problems eating ice cream or anything--but these hurt! And the pain wasnt just during the 30minutes of strip-on-the-teeth time: it bothered me around the clock! I would recommend these hesitantly, check out other options first. Like I said, they did work......but be prepared to deal with some pain.

These do NOT whiten teeth. Ive tried them and the commercials are deceiving. You will NOT get the results they show on the commercials. I was very disappointed in this product.

Save the money from these and go to the dentist and have a professional zoom whitening. There is no way you are going to whiten your teeth at home using these. The peroxide isnt strong enough. The dentist uses over twice the strength of these. I dont care how many packages of these you use, it will not work.

Also...The bottom strips are too small to cover your teeth and they float off in your saliva. Youre basically ingesting peroxide from them. I dont know how safe that could be, but its not very promising to me. The dentist will cost more, but it will be what you are really expecting. Save your money.

But they do whiten. A little. As most of the reviews seem to say, youre not going to get super-ultra white teeth. However, if you have stains from coffee, smoking, wine, ect., these help a lot. My teeth were looking pretty dull, and now they look 100pct. better. They are not virgin snow white though- for that youll have to visit the dentist. But worth the money. Do be prepared for sensitivity...I actually quit using the bottom strips because they were causing a lot of pain. Plus, the bottom ones dont stay on very well anyway, so its probably not a big loss.

I used this product for the first time last year. I was shocked at how quickly they worked. They really do show results within 3 days. After finishing the pack your teeth will STAY WHITE too. My teeth looked great for an entire year. I just went out and bought another pack today. Yes, they are expensive, but USD 30.00 ONCE a year for beautiful teeth is worth it.

I did experience some sensitivity. After the 4th day I couldnt do the twice a day application, I cut back to once a day. It wasnt horrible pain, just an annoying feeling. Similar to how your teeth might feel if you ate something VERY cold or if you applied pressure to them. Im sure I could have endured, but I didnt mind waiting a little longer for white teeth.

I will say that people around me noticed my whiter teeth. (Friends and family) I am a tea drinker, red wine fan, and an occasional smoker. My teeth werent horrible, but they had yellowed with time. I saw a big improvement and so did others. My friend uses these as well and when the time rolls around for her to start a new pack I always notice her teeth looking white before she even tells me shes using them again.

These work 100pct.. 7 days, twice a day isnt much to ask for an entire year of white teeth. Even the 30.00 isnt so bad when you consider how good your teeth will look and how long it will last. If you are unsure or nervous about the ... take my word... these are worth every penny.

I waited for these to go on sale, and when they finally did, I took my USD 7 off coupon and raced to the store. I had used the original version of these a few years ago, and had remembered getting decent results, so I thought this version would be even better.
Was it Well I cant say because I was only able to use them twice before the pain got to be so intense that I could not even drink cold water, or eat anything warm. It was awful. The pain does not occur just around the time youre wearing the strip. It occurs all day long. And not to mention that you end up swallowing much of the gel because the strips make you salivate more than normal. So not only are they painful, but theyre also a pain to use. I do NOT recommend these. Try the original version (I dont remember having pain from those).

Crest Whitestrips is an incredible product. It is virtually the same hydrogen peroxide bleaching solution that dentists use. Its amazing how much whiter they make your teeth after only a few days. Ive been using them for a couple of years and decided to try the new Whitestrips Premium PLUS. This product is exactly the same as the regular Whitestrips Premium, except the box it comes in has a window and it comes with 3 extra days of strips. The regular Whitestrips takes 7 days and this takes 10. After 7 days, your teeth are pretty much as white as theyre going to get, and I didnt notice much of a difference from the additional 3 days. The Plus in the products name seems to refer more to the much higher cost of this product.

If youre thinking about getting this, just realize that all it is is three more strips, so when you figure out how much youre being charged per strip, you may find youre paying considerably more for these poer strip than the regular Whitestrips Premium.

That being said, the strips are a great product and if you get them, make sure you buy some toothpaste for sensitive teeth because this product WILL make your teeth feel like theyre on fire. Its definitely worth it though.

Since I drink a lot of tea (hot and iced), my teeth were discolored. I had used Crest Whitestrips about 2 years ago, and they worked well. I thought I would try Whitestrips Premium Plus for a few more bucks. They did work really well, my teeth are whiter after using them. I agree with the reviewers that complain about how small the strips are, and the tendency of the lower strip, especially, to become dislodged by excess saliva. I found myself constantly in the mirror, rearranging the lower strip. The upper one rarely moved. I believe Crest needs to do some tweaking on that lower strip! But despite all the problems I had keeping the lower strip in place, my teeth look a lot better than before, so my goal was achieved!

Ive always had really bad yellow teeth (almost brown) and then I tried the original whitestrips and a bunch of other kinds of things....which didnt work too well (there was only a bit of improvement). But then I tried these....and BAM! 2 days now, and my teeth are almost completely white. If you can handle the side effects these are good. Theyre hard to keep on your teeth, in some cases it may be exteremly painful (like getting your teeth drilled) but I only had that happen with one tooth and these things make you drool like crazy!!!!! If you can handle that, these things will turn even the most disgusting looking teeth white.
