Rembrandt 2 Hour White Kit

My friend and I decided to whiten our teeth for one fun boring night. We did exactly what the directions said....Apply a small thin ribbon of bleach into the mouth guard. And the repeative 20 min and 10 min sessions.

As we finished the first 2 sessions of 20 mins with 10 min breaks we were both horrified to find white lines appearing along with small white spots.

After finishing the full 2 hours we both now are walking around with a new white lined pattern on our teeth. So........

If you want to whiten your teeth this product is not what you want to get a nice whitened smile.

The tasted is disgusting and because of the that make sure you have a groole rage on hand.

There is has got to be a better way then this.

I have used many whiteners before and tried this one because of the short-term commitment. I tried the 2-hour method and noticed whiter teeth. I was quite pleased. They werent extremely white, but very noticeable (my Mom noticed a couple of days later that my teeth looked whiter) My gums were sore at the end, and was sweating out the last application. (Try hard not to get it on your gums, but the pain goes away a half-hour after removal). Too bad that after a few short weeks youd never know I whitened them. I tried the second application but forgot to put the narrow cap on the application tube and only got 2 sets of trays worth (instead of 4), and they dont look any whiter this time.

After reading the reviews on amazon, I figured that I had a 50/50 shot, so I went to the store and purchased the Rembrandt 2 hour white. I did not notice any bad taste at all, and after molding the comfy trays, it was a fairly comfortable procedure. The time goes by fast as long as youre keeping yourself occupied too. I thought it worked really well, for only taking two hours. I tried the two week white strips by crest and didnt like them, the gelly stuff got all over the place, but in the trays, it is contained (as long as you dont use too much gel). Overall, I think this is a great product for the time and money spent, and I will use it again. I did not experience any adverse effects, like gum discomfort or white spots... Im sure it varies for everyone, but this product worked well for me, and worth giving a shot for you!

The trays in this product work really well. Ive always had trouble with the strips sliding out of place because my mouth starts to water. The trays stay in place. Yes, the peroxide still tastes gross, but I had no trouble getting through the two hour session. I noticed a definite improvement, although I was expecting a more dramatic change after two hours.

I have been using this product for a while now and I recommend doing the 20 minute intervals within a weeks time, otherwise your teeth will become very sensitive if you did it in one sitting.

I went to my dentist and asked if I should get my teeth whitened professionally by her and she said I do not think I could make them much whiter.

An excellent product for those that do not have a lot of discoloration to begin with.

im not a kid, im 16 but i didnt feel like setting up an account. this stuff is really amazing! my teeth are so white from using only 1 tube of the whiting gel for 2 hours. i had absolutely no tooth sensitivity to this. you just have to read the instructions and make sure you dont put too much gel on. i actually didnt put enough cause i had some left over. and the flavor (which isnt the greatest) is a hundred times better than crest white strips.. that made be gag. i will definately use the other 2 tubes and keep my sparkling smile! i gave it 4 stars only because i dont know the long-run results but im sure they are going to be good. this is definately worth USD 20! thats for sure!

This product stinks it the whiting gel easily gets into your mouth and it tastes really nasty i would not buy this if i was you it does not work well at all!!!

When i tried this, it didnt get my teeth as white as they lead me to believe. The taste made me gag. It was horrible and the mouth trays didnt really work on keeping the gel on my teeth. My teeth have white spots that are still visible. Even after i brushed my teeth.

No, your teeth wont be glowing white, but I did notice a good difference after using this product. Considering the of other whitening systems, and the fact that they take usually a couple weeks, I was more than pleased to get a decent whitening in such a short period of time.

I wouldnt use it right before a date, but the day before would be just fine. Some people get sensitivity, white spots on their gums from the peroxide, and TEMPORARY discoloration on their teeth. All of these usually go away well within 24 hours, as they did in my case. If you have a sensitivity issue, I would recommend the 3 day option described in the directions. I saw the most whitening in the first two treatments, so maybe that would be enough for you, anyway.

One thing I really liked about this system is that it has plenty of gel for multiple treatments. One pack will be enough for me to treat once a month for three months, if I need to. You really dont need to use a lot of gel, just a strip on each mouthpiece will do- AS IT SAYS IN THE DIRECTIONS. Several reviewers with problems would have been okay if they had read and followed the directions.

Bottom line, this is an EASY whitening system, with GOOD whitening, and is a GREAT value for the money spent!

Weve used Rembrandt products for several years now, and have always been pleased. Were also pleased with the results of this whitening process.

However, we have found the trays not very uncomfortable and that they have a tendency to slip around a bit. For those who dont wish to spend the night with trays in your mouths this is may be the answer - if you can find the two hours!

I picked up this whitening kit because it was at my grocery store on sale for USD 5.99, down from USD 19.99. I decided to try it last night, kinda late, then going to bed afterwards. Before starting I carefully read every word in the provided booklet, even the FAQ type of thing.

Custom fitting the trays took some time, I set the faucet to hot, which was almsot to hot to touch. I dipped them in for 5 seconds like it says, it did nothing. I microwaved the water for about 30 seconds, held the trays in for about 15 seconds, and they molded perfectly.

I used a very thin amount across the trays, like it says. I might even have used to little because after the full 2 hour process there was still quite a bit left.

At the end of it all my teeth had bright white spots and lines all over... but if you read the book itll tell you this is very normal and that it will go away in a few hours. When I woke up in the morning my teeth were all the same smooth white color. I had general coffee/wine/food stains, mostly where my teeth met my gums, and they were no longer there.

I now happily have a smooth, simply white, shining smile that its GLEAMING white and fake looking.

Dont buy this product. Its a waste of money and time. The mouth trays were cheap and didnt work. The taste of the gel made me gag. My teeth didnt get whiter, but now, after using it, they have bleched spots and rings that make my teeth look even more yellow than before. And the marks are still visible after I brushed my teeth over and over again.

purchased the Rembrandt 2 Hour White pack and began to use it before reading what others had to say about the product and, frankly, I didnt find the experience at all bad.

No, it doesnt have a gourmet taste and its not the most enjoyable thing Ive ever put in my mouth but I certainly didnt gag and spit out the trays thinking Id never try to bleach my teeth ever again.

The flavor is not great and the gel is a little slimy, as glycerin tends to be, and there is a faint smell of bleach but hey, this is a bleaching product after all. As for the trays, they fit well enough and stayed in place fine as long as I kept my mouth closed with the trays tucked behind my lips. I popped a DVD into my computer and was a happy camper for the duration of the bleaching.

I read the instructions and followed directions and after a couple of hours my teeth were actually brighter. They certainly werent that blue-white halogen plasma glow that some TV personalities seem to enjoy but then again if my teeth were that freaky white Id be too self-conscious to smile fearing that Id burn a retina or two.

Overall -- No gum irritation, no tooth sensitivity, and very little hassle for nicer looking teeth. The product did what it was advertised to do.

It would seem that reading Amazon reviews before purchasing just about anything is always advisable. My first experience with the Rembrant 2 Hour Whitening experience was less than artistic. There are a huge number of human errors that can occur while using this system.

Things I did wrong:

Used too much whitening gel on my first try which resulted in my entire mouth foaming and it was not pleasant.

Dipped the mouthguards in hot (instead of warm) water and almost melted them. You do this and then put them in your mouth and then bite down. This keeps the trays in place later because you imprint them with your teeth and they then stay in place.

So, the first time I tried this product it was a total disaster. After two hours, my gums hurt, I had a definite injury on the inside of my upper lip (irritation from the gel), my lips felt swollen, my entire mouth felt uncomfortable and I was very unhappy with the entire situation.

USE THIS BEFORE A DATE Absolutely not.

Dont use this product unless you have an entire week to recover. You might not be able to kiss for days. Plus, I did not notice dramatically different whitening. My teeth looked slightly whiter, but when compared to my back teeth, there was no real noticeable difference. This might be because my teeth are as white as they are going to get and they wont whiten past my natural color without a lot more help.

With all this said. I then proceeded to try the product again. I placed a much smaller quantity of whitening gel on the inside of the mouthguards and wore them in the shower. I then took them out after 10-15 minutes and did this once a day. I used both trays at the same time without any problem. Once you figure out how much gel to use, the entire process is much more pleasant. Still, the gel was irritating to my gums and I can say it did sensitize my teeth to an extreme degree. It felt like little bubbles going down to the roots and it was really torture.

After calling my dentist, 500 dollars is sounding pretty good for professional whitening. The entire 2 hour experience was less than pleasant and cause incredible tooth sensitivity in my mouth. I am still recovering weeks after using this product and my upper teeth are still sensitive. If you are going to try this product, try using it for 15 minutes a day instead of for 2 hours all at once. Believe me, this product is strong, but the whitening results seemed minor at best.
